  • I'd like to join a security service, but don't know what devices I need.

    The security solution and equipment you need for your home can be conveniently assembled on the USS Security website. If you do not find the right solution or have any questions about the equipment, please be sure to contact our customer support and we will always be happy to assist you.
  • What happens to the security devices when the electricity goes out?

    All alarms are equipped with a backup battery, which ensures that the unit will work even when there is no electricity. When properly checked, the backup battery can supply the alarm system for approximately 12 hours. During this time, the customer must restore power, otherwise the security system may no longer work after some time.
  • Why do my alarms cause false alarms?

    Incorrect motion sensor malfunction may be due to incorrect sensor location, such as above a heater, where temperature changes can be quite steep. False alarms can also be caused by uncontrollably moving things / objects (eg curtains). In case of repeated false alarms, the sensitivity or position of the sensors should be changed. Alarms can also be caused by food that has gone higher or a domestic animal moving in a guarded area. In the latter case, we recommend the use of animal-resistant motion sensors, which reduces the potential for false alarms.
  • Is there a fee for patrol departure?

    A false alarm is a charge for a car patrol's departure if the departure was caused by the negligence of a customer or a third party, such as animals moving in a guarded area, room humidity, an open window or the like.

  • How can I change the contacts on a guarded object?

    It is most convenient to change the contact person of the guarded object if the contracted customer sends a corresponding e-mail from the email address specified in the contract to USS Security Eesti AS at klienditeenindus@uss.ee.
  • I'm changing my place of residence. Can I continue as a USS Security client at my new home?

    When changing residence, please inform USS Security Estonia Customer Service in writing of the change of address, who will make the necessary changes to the service agreement.
  • Is there a fee to call out a technician?

    If it is not a warranty job, a technician job will be charged.
  • Is regular maintenance charged during the equipment warranty period?

    Regular maintenance of the equipment during the warranty period is chargeable.
  • How long is the equipment warranty period?

    USS Security provides a one-year warranty on alarm system equipment. The warranty period starts from the moment the alarm equipment is delivered to the customer.
  • In which cases is the warranty void?

    Warranty Alarm Equipment shall be repaired or replaced at the expense of USS Security, except: • Equipment reliability has been reduced due to customer, third party or force majeure. • Equipment has been improperly maintained or used. • The maintenance or repair of the alarm system equipment has been carried out by a third party.
